After School Nanny, Edinburgh EH4 6 – minimum 14.25 hours per week – up to £17 per hour

Job ref: LCSJUNE03

This lovely family located in Edinburgh are looking for an after school nanny, mainly in term time, to care for their three children ages 9, 6 and 3 years.

ASAP start. The end date is estimated at July 2024.

The times and days required are:

Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays 1.45pm to approx. 6.30pm term time only. The family are happy to offer additional hours.

The role will include using the first hour each day to help with children’s laundry, tidying their rooms and preparing their evening meal before collecting the children from Cramond Primary School and taking them to some after school activities.

Their oldest child is sporty and likes to play outside. He can be shy initially but lots of fun. He likes to play video games and watch tv to chill after a day at school. He may need some assistance with light piano practice and homework, especially as he is dyslexic.

Their middle child also likes to play outside, loves one to one time and a bit TV. He too may need a bit support and encouragement with homework.

Their youngest is a lively spirited child with very good speech. She loves imaginative play and playing outside. She is about to start the nursery within the primary school.

The family are looking for a reliable nanny who is fun, kind and nurturing. Someone who can help them decompress in their own home after a day at school. Also someone who is happy to take them to some after school activities. Must be able to drive. Own car is preferable and mileage will be paid, however the family may be able to provide a car for after school activities.

Free parking at the family home.

The family have a 13 year old timid Jack Russell. She barks when the door goes but otherwise sleeps a lot.

Hourly rate from £15 – £17 per hour.
