Early Learning and Childcare Workers
Lothian Childcare Solutions can provide Early Learning and Childcare Workers to work within a wide range of childcare services including playgroups, nurseries, creches, breakfast clubs, after school clubs and holiday playschemes.
Qualifications
We recruit experienced, qualified staff as well as experienced, unqualified staff who are, or are willing to, work towards a relevant childcare qualification.
If an applicant holds a relevant childcare related qualification recognised by the SSSC, he or she will be registered under the appropriate part of the register. If an applicant does not hold a relevant recognised qualification, they will be required to undertake and complete a qualification within a timescale set by the SSSC, usually 3-5 years. They will be able to work within a childcare setting for this time to gain practical experience. You can however request a worker that already has their SSSC registration.
Temporary and Permanent Workers
If you are a service and looking for a temporary Early Learning and Childcare worker to cover staff sickness, holidays, or a permanent member of staff to compliment your workforce then please use our contact form or email us your requirements.
Once you tell us what your requirements are in relation to tasks and responsibilities, we will match the right person to the role and find the right person for your team.
