We are recruiting a full-time live-in nanny for a wonderful farming Mum who lives with her two children in rural Perthshire. She has a great team around her who work on the farm.
Start date is 1st April 2026 or sooner if possible.
The annual salary is up to £35,000 gross per annum depending on experience.
The nanny will have their own accommodation in a separate one-bedroom cottage. All utility bills, council tax, internet etc will be paid by the family. Photos of the accommodation can be shared once an application has been submitted.
This will be a Monday to Friday role with the ideal hours being 7.30am to 6pm with an unpaid lunch hour between 1-2pm (47.5 hours per week).
Her oldest child will be 4 years old in June. She currently attends nursery five days a week, leaving home at 8.05am and returning at 3.30pm (Mum does the drop offs) but will be delighted if this could be shared a bit.
Her youngest child has just turned two years old and is still at home. She currently has a nap between1pm-3pm.
The children have a pony and a puppy which they are involved in looking after.
The values that are important to Mum are the children been polite, having good table manners, helping with tasks and being outside as much as possible.
The right candidate must love the outdoors and animals and be happy to live in the countryside. The family are happy to have a nanny who has their own pony/dog and for this to be kept on the farm.
As they live 30 minutes from the nearest shops with access to the farm via a farm road, the right candidate must be able to drive. The family have a family car to share, which is suitable to be driven on the farm roads.
