We are recruiting a permanent after school nanny to work with a lovely, busy family who live in the Barnton area of Edinburgh. They may consider a temporary solution until they find a permanent nanny.
They have two children age 7 and 5 years.
Hourly rate: up to £20 per hour gross depending on experience.
Start Date: ASAP
Days and Hours: Tuesdays and Thursdays 2.40pm to 5.10pm (total 5 hours per week). The family is happy to offer longer hours each day if the right candidate would like this. More hours may also be available in the school holidays but this is optional.
Their son is really sporty, football and rugby mad. He loves people to play with him but super shy to ask and often needs supported to say how he’s feeling and what he wants.
Their daughter is far more independent, loves crafting, dolls but likes encouragement to play her games.
They are a busy family with lots of clubs and weekends are usually full of socialising. Dad travels quite a bit for work therefore they really need support and consistency with childcare.
They would like a nanny who is patient, caring, understanding, imaginative and gentle who will take time to get to know the children’s individual needs. They would prefer a non smoker but open to both.
They need a nanny who ideally has their own car. There is free parking at the family home.
