We’re recruiting a permanent, experienced nanny for a kind and welcoming solo mum in Glasgow, caring primarily for her 9-month-old baby, with after nursery care of his 3-year-old sibling.
This is a gentle, relationship-focused role for someone who truly enjoys supporting babies and young children with warmth, patience, and emotional attunement.

Contract: Permanent
Start date: ASAP
Days & times: Tuesdays & Fridays, 9am–5pm
Hours: 16 hours per week
Pay: £15 per hour gross
👶 About the Children
The youngest is a calm, happy 9-month-old who is breastfed and also confidently enjoying solid foods. Mum will usually be around during care hours and will continue breastfeeding for now. He’s playful, curious, and developing right on track, and is currently very attached to mum as his primary caregiver. A gentle, patient approach to early separation is key, with mum present initially to support a gradual, emotionally attuned transition.
The older child (age 3) may occasionally be around, though he isn’t the main focus of the role. He’s bright, imaginative, and energetic, and responds really well to calm, consistent care. He’s currently navigating life between two households and benefits from warmth, predictability, and understanding.
