This lovely family are looking for a permanent part-time nanny / mother’s help to help look after their children ages 6, nearly 4 and new baby due in November 2024.
The start date is November 2024.
The family are initially looking for help two full days each week: one day must be a Wednesday and the other is flexible. During school holidays the family would benefit from having help 3 days each week
The hours are ideally 10am to 6pm.
Their oldest is 6 years old and in primary 2 at school. She is an incredibly kind and gentle little girl who loves being outside and doing any sort of crafts, especially drawing. Their middle child is turning 4 in November. She is at the same nursery four days each week so the nanny may have to look after her at least one day a week, or at least help to look after her. She is incredibly funny and sassy. She loves pretend play, especially shops and babies. She takes a little warming up but when she does she is very affectionate.
The family are also due their third in November so the successful candidate will support mum a little bit with their new baby to give her a little respite. The nanny will need to be flexible with tasks and happy to support mum when required.
They are looking for a kind and compassionate person who is flexible in the type of childcare that she does, i.e. sometimes looking after their middle child sometimes the baby. The nanny mus be experienced in looking after children, whether that’s from having their own or looking after others. They are also looking for an experienced driver with a clean licence as the nanny will sometimes collect the children from school/nursery at 3pm, which is a 20 minute drive away from the family home. Ideally the successful candidate will have a paediatric first aid qualification or happy to work towards this either before or just after the job starts.
A driver is required and will drive the family car to school/nursery. There is free parking at the family home.
The hourly rate is £15 per hour gross
The family have two very friendly dogs, a Labrador and spaniel.
