We have a lovely family with two boys age five and three years who are looking for a permanent nanny three or four afternoons each week (Monday to Thursdays) during term time (in line with East Lothian Council school term dates).
The role will start ASAP.
The hourly rate is £18 per hour gross.
The hours will be up to a maximum of 12 per week (3-4 hours each day).
The nanny will be responsible for collecting the boys from nursery and school (which is within walking distance) at 2.45pm and taking care of them until their parents finish work around 5/5.15pm. The additional hours offered (which are flexible) can mean an earlier start to help with childcare related tasks around the house before collecting the children.
Additional hours during school holidays can also be offered but not essential. The family are keen to discuss how the hours might work for the right candidate.
Their oldest child is in P1. He loves books and being read to. He is just starting to learn to read and write and really enjoying this. Their youngest is in pre-school, loves animals and dinosaurs and being outside.
They are looking for a reliable nanny who will engage with their children. Someone who is kind, compassionate, patient and who encourages outdoor play. Non smoker preferred.
A driver is preferred but not essential. There is free parking at the family home.
At least one parent will always be working from home.
