This lovely and busy family are looking for a permanent after school nanny for their two children age 8 and 6 years. This is a year round job with more flexible hours during school holidays.
The start date is ASAP.
The days and hours are: Mondays to Thursdays 3pm to 6pm and Fridays 12 noon to 5pm
Hourly rate is up to £20 per hour gross depending on experience. A salary can be calculated to ensure a consistent monthly wage over 12 months. Any additional hours worked in school holidays will be paid at the agreed hourly rate.
Their oldest attends school and is in P4 at Wardie Primary. She has a support for learning adult. She is a lovely girl who adores all sorts of animals and enjoys going to the zoo. She and her sibling are very close and play together lots. They are both interested in reading, dolls, lego, art and much more. She has suffered from epilepsy since she was a toddler, Electrical status epilepticus during slow-wave sleep (ESES) from about age 5 and has recently been diagnosed as intellectually disabled.
Their youngest attends ballet class and brownies. She was was elected as the pupil council representative for her current P1 class, a position she is proud to hold and takes very seriously.
Both girls have mastered swimming and biking/scooting.
They are looking for a reliable and caring nanny who is kind and patient. A non-smoker and non vaper. Ideally someone who has experience of supporting a child with additional support needs however it is more important to find the right person who is willing to get to know the children and support their individual needs.
A driver is not required and there is free parking at the family home.
Parents work from home.
