We are recruiting a permanent nanny for a family with four children across three or four days per week.
The children are ages 8, nearly 7, 5 and nearly 3 years at the start date.
Start date: May 2026, but option to start earlier on Fridays only.
Days and hours: 11.30am to 6.30pm Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays with similar hours on a Friday but this day is optional.
There is also the option to work more hours in school holidays.
Hourly rate: £17 per hour gross.
They are a fun filled and busy household with both parents working full time.
The family would like their nanny to collect their youngest from nursery at noon each day. Their nanny will also be responsible for collecting the older children from school at 3pm. Other tasks during the day might include, but not limited to, sorting the children’s laundry, preparing their evening meal, change the children’s bedding and keeping their areas tidy. After collecting the children, the nanny would support homework, after school activities and perhaps getting the younger children bathed and ready for bed.
As a family they love being active and outdoors so encouragement to do this alongside healthy eating would be very much appreciated.
They are looking for a nanny who is organised, patient with a calm demeanour. Someone who is fun, likes arts and crafts, cooking skills and is first aid trained, however they are also happy for their nanny to attend first aid before they start.
A driver with their own car is preferrable, but there will be a family car to use if not. There is free parking.
A non-smoker is essential.
They have a friendly two-year-old golden retriever.
Both parents are self-employed so may come back to the house at times.
