We are recruiting a temporary nanny on behalf of a lovely family who live in Prestonpans, East Lothian.
This is a term time only role but they may be open to having some help in the summer school holidays (optional).
Days and Times are: Tuesdays and Wednesdays (may consider a Thursday instead) term time only in line with East Lothian school dates.
Times: 9am to 3pm
Hourly Rate: £16 per hour gross.
Mum is self employed and will hopefully have a nursery place from August/September for her youngest so is therefore looking for a temporary nanny from early May 2026 until then.
Wee one is currently 7 months old and working through the early development milestones. He needs someone who will nurture him and give him time and support to have the confidence to learn. He would benefit from activities to support his next milestones i.e. crawling, talking and exploring.
They are a close family, who enjoy going for walks, shopping and eating out. They attend the same gym and often work out together with the kids, involving them in cooking to promote healthy living and wellbeing. Being mentally well and resilient is important to them. They like to read and also watch TV together.
They are looking for a nanny who is patient, nurturing, creative, who loves the outdoors, uses their imagination to create learning opportunities through play, singing and dancing. Someone loving and proactive who has a good idea of infant nutrition and the ability to cook healthy meals and snacks.
Non smoker and non vaper.
A driver would be desirable, but they live near to a bus stop (Seton Sands No.26 bus).
