We are looking for an after-school nanny for a lovely family who have settled in Aberdour, Fife.
This role can start ASAP and will continue until 30th May 2026 during term time only.
The hourly rate is £20 per hour.
Days and hours are Mondays 3pm to 6pm, Tuesdays 3pm to 5pm and Wednesdays 3pm to 5pm (7 hours per week).
This lovely family arrived in Scotland in February 2025 through the UK government resettlement scheme and have been settling into the local area and community. The parents will attend college when childcare is required.
They have four children ages, 12, 9, 6 and 3 years. The three older children started at the local primary school soon after arriving and this year their eldest transitioned to High School. At the same time the youngest child started at the local school nursery. The children all have some English and manage school well, but it is worth noting that English is their second language and a skill they continue to develop. The family eat a Halal diet.
They are looking for a kind, caring and patient nanny who perhaps has an appreciation of other countries and cultures, or even some knowledge and understanding of refugee resettlement or Islamic culture, but none of these are essential. The most important thing is to be accepting and supportive.
No pets.
