We are recruiting a permanent nanny on behalf of a lovely family who live in the Leith area of Edinburgh.
They have one child who is 4 years.
Start date is August 2025 (for the start of the school term).
The hourly rate is up to £20 per hour gross depending on experience.
Days and Hours: Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays 3.15pm to 6pm (8.25 hours per week). They would also consider a nanny for one or two days.
This is a year round role as pick up will be from holiday club in the school holidays. However if the right candidate wanted term time only, this will also be considered.
Collection is from Holy Cross Nursery which is approximately a 15/20 minute walk from the family home.
Their daughter is a fun loving 4 year old who is chatty with a good sense of humour. She is sociable and engages well with both children and adults. She can initially be a little bit shy around children that she doesn’t know well. She likes to be independent and is very clear about what she wants to do. This can be difficult sometimes in terms of timings so her parents tend to leave plenty of time to get to places. She loves to read and is a good story teller. She also just recently got a bike with stabilisers which she loves to ride in a paved area in front of her house.
The successful nanny will be gentle and patient, caring and reliable. Someone fun, who is creative and happy to play. Experience in looking after this age group. Would prefer a non-smoker and non vaper.
Mum will be working from home on Mondays and Tuesdays but this may change at times.
A driver is not required but a car is available if needed. There is free parking at the family home.
