This friendly and welcoming family are looking for a permanent after school / nursery nanny for their five- and two-year-old during term time (in line with George Heriot’s school term dates).
The start date is ASAP.
The days and hours are: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays 2pm to 7pm (15 hours per week).
Additional hours on a flexible basis and in school holidays may be offered with mutual agreement and paid at the agreed hourly rate.
Hourly rate is up to £17 per hour gross depending on experience. Any additional hours worked will be paid at the agreed hourly rate.
Their daughter will be starting primary one in August 2025. She is extremely creative and loves drawing, painting, crafting, dancing, and music. Their son will be two years old in August and is very active. He loves drawing, playing, and going to the park. The parents are raising the children bilingual with German as well as English, so some knowledge of the German language would be amazing (though absolutely not required).
They are looking for a reliable and caring nanny to look both children between school pickup at 2pm and when the parents get home on or before 7pm. On days that the parents are available to help with pickup etc. it would be nice for their nanny to help with meal preparation, tidying toys, or sorting the children’s clothes etc.
A non-smoker and non-vaper is preferred.
A driver is required and there is free parking at the family home. Own car is preferable, but use of a family car can be discussed.
Parents do not work from home.
The family have two cats.
