We have a rare opportunity for a permanent and full time nanny role with a family who live near West Calder. They have one child who is 13 months.
Start date: week beginning 22nd February 2026 to allow a handover with current nanny.
Days and hours: Mondays to Fridays 8am to 4pm.
Overtime will also be needed but will be arranged and mutually agreed with at least 1 weeks notice.
There may also be the option to travel with the family but this is not a requirement.
Hourly rate: £16 per hour gross.
They are a close Scottish/Italian family with strong ties to grandparents on both sides. They are really focused on quality family time to ensure that their wee one feels loved, secure and has a stable family environment. They love gardening and cooking. Both parents travel for work so they like to make the most of time at home.
Their son is an active and inquisitive child who enjoys his music classes, swimming and Bookbug sessions so they are looking for a nanny who is loving, caring, self motivated. They must have previous nanny experience and be reliable. Someone proactive and organised who will plan fun and engaging activities.
A driver is required but the family can provide use of their can if preferred over mileage. There is free parking.
A non-smoker is essential.
The family have a very gentle German Shepherd dog therefore the nanny must be comfortable around him.
There may be some days where parents will work from home.
