About the Role
We are seeking an experienced, warm, and enthusiastic nanny to join a family who live in Fife.
This is a full-time position caring for three boys (ages 18 months, 6 and 4) in a beautiful estate setting less than an hour from Edinburgh. The focus for this family is on finding someone who can pick things up quickly, use their initiative and who can use nature and the setting to fill the days with fun and adventure. The boys are in a great routine and their current nanny has been with them for years. This will be a fantastic role for a conscientious nanny looking for a new role and challenge.

Start date: June 2025
Hours: 40-55 hours per week (flexible) 9am start, Mon-Fri
Salary: £16.00-£18.00 per hour (DOE)
Location: Fife (approximately 1 hour commute from Edinburgh)
Type: Live-out position (live-in can be offered for an exceptional candidate)
Main Responsibilities
Primary care and development support for 18-month-old, including:
naps, meals, and age-appropriate activities; helping with school pick-up for 6 and 4-year-old children during term time (occasionally drop-offs if needed); planning and preparing nutritious meals and snacks appropriate for all ages; organising engaging activities that include all three children while adapting to different developmental stages; managing the 18-month-old’s daily routine while older siblings are at school; supporting homework and after-school activities for school-age children; support the day-to-day in the home helping keep the schedules ticking along for the parents and the children; maintaining children’s spaces, organising toys, and managing clothing rotation; creating nature scavenger hunts and outdoor exploration activities using the estate grounds; organising seasonal activities like foraging, nature art projects, and wildlife spotting; setting up outdoor learning experiences including gardening, bug hunting, and natural science experiments; planning nature-based physical activities such as obstacle courses using natural elements and woodland walks.
Schedule
Primary care needed while mum works in London Tuesdays to Thursdays, with more flexible arrangements Monday and Friday when mum works from home if required.
