We are recruiting a permanent nanny on behalf of a lovely family who live in the Edinburgh area. They have two children ages nearly 4 and one year.
Start date is ASAP.
The hourly rate – £15 per hour gross.
Days and Hours: Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays – 8am to 4.30pm (25.5 hours per week)
Their oldest (boy) takes some time to adjust to new environments and people but once he does he’s very outgoing and engaging. He loves reading, listening to stories, playing with cars, trains, and kicking his ball outside in the garden. He is a homebody and loves to be at home , but also equally loves going out to ride his bike. He is currently at a playgroup 3 mornings a week (Tuesday. Wednesday and Thursday). It would be very helpful if the nanny could take him to playgroup – his parents will collect him unless they have a meeting scheduled over this time. Playgroup is accessible via bus or car.
Their youngest (a girl) is very easy going. She loves to go for walks in the buggy but also to just be around the house and garden to explore.
The successful nanny will show commitment to the role, patience, attentiveness, be empathetic and have a sense of humour. A non-smoker and non vaper.
A driver would be helpful but not a requirement. There is a car available for use. There is free parking at the family home.
They have a Maine Coone cat who is very much a part of the family but very low maintenance.
