This lovely family are looking for a permanent nanny to care for their daughter who is currently 9 months of age.
Start Date: Ideally 15th December 2025 but no later than 3rd January 2026
Days: 5 afternoons, Mondays to Fridays
Times: 1pm to 6pm (25 hours per week)
Hourly rate: £15 per hour gross
Their daughter is precocious and enjoys being engaged and active. Her parents would like a nanny who will enjoy taking their daughter to the park and other outdoor venues, museums, children’s events e.g., Bookbugs.
As a family, they enjoy spending time in nature (hiking/going for walks and picnics), attending literary and cultural events, and discovering children-friendly events in Edinburgh. It is important to the parents to foster their daughter’s creativity, curiosity, empathy, and intelligence.
Her parents spend lots of time engaging and speaking to her as they go about their day and would therefore like a nanny who has a similar approach. A Waldorf or Montessori background would be a bonus. It is also important to the family to engage a nanny who is a non smoker and who doesn’t come from a smoking household.
A driver is not required and there is no free parking at the family home.
The parents will be working from home.
