We are seeking a kind, caring and proactive nanny to join a family who live near Ormiston in beautiful East Lothian. They have three children ages 5, nearly 4 years and a new born, born in July.
Start date: September or October 2025.
Days and Hours: 3 days per week 8.15am to 5.15pm
Preferred days: Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays
Salary: minimum £15 per hour gross
Care will primarily be for their young baby during the day so new born experience is essential. Other responsibilities may include collecting the children from school in Gifford and taking them to after school activities then home to support homework and dinner, children’s laundry and cooking while the baby sleeps.
Their older children are very interested in arts and crafts as well as drawing and their current youngest currently loves Lego so they would love their nanny to be creative and encourage play based activities when caring for them.
A driver is required – mileage will be paid for using own car at 45p per mile.
A non smoker and non vaper is essential.
They have a miniature Schnauzer who is very friendly.
