We are recruiting a reliable permanent mother’s help for a family in the Leith area of Edinburgh.
Start date: end August 2025
The hours are: Monday to Friday 7am to 9am. This can be flexible e.g. 6.30am to 8.30am or 6.45am to 8.45am.
This is a year round job but during school holidays, additional hours can be offered and times can be more flexible.
Children’s ages: nearly six, three and 14 months. The eldest has complex ASN and therefore needs a lot of bespoke care in the mornings, usually provided by mum.
With the time constraints of school transport it is a busy household trying to get all children ready. The eldest needs to be ready for transport at 7.50am and can be collected anytime till 8.30am.
Mum is very hands on and organised and has a really good morning routine. The ideal candidate will support this routine, be enthusiastic, reliable, calm and patient: someone who doesn’t flap when things get busy and who is happy work alongside mum being firm, fair and fun at the same time. Experience with ASN is not necessary but a smile for the children is a must.
A driver would be helpful but not essential.
