We have a lovely family who live in Kirknewton, near Edinburgh, looking for a permanent part-time nanny to look after their two children ages 4.5 and 2 years.
Days and Hours
Thursdays 7am to 9am and 3pm to 6pm during term time (7am to 6pm during school holidays)
Wednesdays 7am to 12 noon
Start date – 18th August 2025 with some settling in days beforehand.
The hourly rate – is £18 per hour. Any additional hours worked will be paid at the agreed hourly rate.
Their oldest daughter will be starting primary one and their youngest goes to nursery on Thursdays. Wednesdays will include dropping their oldest at school and looking after their youngest until noon. Both will need dropped at nursery and school on a Thursday and collected at the end of the day. During school holidays care will be for both children on Wednesday mornings and a Thursday all day for their oldest.
They are looking for a reliable and caring nanny who will look to become a key member of the family, giving consistency and reliability. A person who is able to have fun and laughter while providing care for the children. Ideally someone who is open to some flexibility as both parents work shifts and there is some additional and variable childcare needed occasionally on evenings and other days which can be offered (this is optional).
A non-smoker and non vaper.
A driver with their own car is required and there is free parking at the family home. Mileage will be reimbursed at 45p per mile.
