This lovely family who live between Gifford and Garvald in East Lothian are looking for a permanent part time nanny for their three children who are 8, 7 and nearly 4 years.
The hourly rate will be between £16-£18 per hour gross.
Start date is ASAP.
The hours are: Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3pm to 6pm. However if the nanny requires more hours then the start time can be earlier at around 2pm. Additionally if the nanny wanted to work afternoon hours on a Wednesday the family are open to making this work.
Please note that this is a year round job, not just term time.
During term time the nanny will care only for the youngest two children who attend Yester Primary School. Collection from nursery is at 3pm and their 7 year old gets off the bus close to home at 3.29pm. During school holidays care will be for all three children at the same times. However if the nanny would like more hours during school holidays, this can be discussed.
They all love arts and crafts and enjoy Magnatiles and Kapla blocks. They love most activities and get on well with each other.
The right candidate will be a non smoker who enjoys being around children. They should be patient, kind, smiley, enthusiastic and creative. They will be responsible for collecting their youngest from nursery and then their middle child from the school bus. Then home for a snack and some activities such as arts and crafts, puzzles, walks and bike rides. The role also involves cooking the children’s dinner. One of the parents will be free to take over at 6pm.
A driver with their own car is required and there is free parking at the family home. Mileage will be paid at 45p per mile.
The parents sometimes work from home.
They have two guinea pigs but there is no responsibility for them.
