We have a family looking for a mother’s help/nanny due to Dad travelling for work for 4-5 weeks with 4-5 weeks home then repeat.
Start date is 1st April 2026 for 4-5 weeks then more dates will be confirmed once dad has his work visa sorted.
They are looking for someone to support mum with their two children age nearly 2 and 4 years. Mum will be present for the majority of the time the nanny is present. She is looking for someone to assist with the childrens bath and bedtime routine.
The days and hours are:
- Wednesdays 3.30pm to 7.30pm
- Thursdays 4pm to 7.30pm
- Fridays 4pm to 7.30pm
Hourly rate is £15-£18 gross (depending on experience) per hour plus holiday pay.
A driver is not required and there is no free parking (paid on street parking only).
Oldest is a bright, creative, energetic boy. He loves playing lego, make believe, baking, reading stories, dancing, doing jigsaws, crafts etc. He can be quite sensitive at times and can need reassurance when upset.
Youngest is a fun, cheeky, lively toddler. She enjoys playing with her babies, copying her big brother and exploring. She is confident and independent.
As a family they enjoy having dance parties and playing together at home. They also enjoy going for walks with the dog at local parks/woods and having a visit to a café. Everyone loves a trip to the museum, zoo or to go see grandparents. They aim to treat each other with love, respect and kindness. When arguments occur, emphasis is made on apology and repair. They aim to teach the children about the seasons and our natural world. They read often to the kids and try to use books and play to encourage creativity and reflection on feelings.
They would love a flexible, patient, fun and kind individual who could help care for their two lovely kids. Someone who enjoys playing, is able to prepare snacks/kids meal, punctual, reliable and attentive.
Must be a non smoker.
They have a Westie who is very calm and friendly.
