We are recruiting a permanent after school nanny for a family who live in South Queensferry. They have three children ages nearly 10, 8 and 5 years.
Hourly rate: £20 per hour gross
Start Date: Flexible, any time from now but definitely from mid August 2026.
Days and Hours: Mondays to Thursdays 2.45pm to 6pm. This is a term time role in line with the City of Edinburgh Council school term.
More hours are available during school holidays.
They have three very active children. The oldest children (both boys) love to play football but also enjoy riding their bikes and most other sports. Their younger sister is also very active – swimming being her favourite sport – in fact, she enjoys anything to do with water. They all enjoy making things and their youngest in particular enjoys crafting. They all enjoy reading. Their middle child has a nut allergy therefore has an epipen.
As a family they enjoy spending time together and being outside. They value kindness to each other (or at least trying to be) and encouragement towards each other.
The would like a nanny who is kind, fun and encouraging and who genuinely loves engaging with children. Someone reliable. First aid or a willingness to work towards.
A non smoker is preferred.
A driver is not required. There is free parking at the family home.
Parents may sometimes work from home.
