We are recruiting a permanent nanny on behalf of a lovely family who live in the Fountainbridge area of Edinburgh.
They have one child who is 2 years old.
Start date can be discussed.
The hourly rate – minimum £15 per hour gross.
Days and Hours: Monday to Fridays approx. 5 hours per day. The parents have a degree of flexibility.
Their daughter is a very happy two year old. She enjoys reading her books, building her vocabulary and quiet play when playing with her toys. Once she has settled with her nanny, her parents would love her to go for walks and activities in the local area. She is an active child so needs a nanny who has the ability and skills to interact with a child of her age and keep her engaged in meaningful and interesting activities. Someone who will support her enthusiasm.
The nanny would be expected to prepare simple breakfast such as porridge, eggs and toast, French toast or Weetabix and prepare fruit slices. No additional cooking skills or housework required.
Paediatric first aid is beneficial or a willingness to attend, in order to recognise and manage things like choking.
The right nanny will be happy to stay with the family long term.
A non-smoker and non vaper.
A driver is not required and there is no free parking at the family home.
Due to the parents jobs they generally won’t be at home unless they have flexibility in their schedules.
No pets.
