We are recruiting a permanent after school nanny for a family who live in North Berwick, East Lothian. They have three children who will be 11, 8 and 4 years old at the start date.
Hourly rate: £20 per hour gross
Start Date: from mid October 2026 but also happy to start mid August if the nanny prefers.
Days and Hours: Mondays and Tuesdays 2pm to 6pm, Wednesdays and Thursdays 3pm to 6pm totalling 14 hours per week.
The family are also open to discussing three days with the right candidate.
The same hours will apply during school holidays but the family are also happy to offer more hours to the nanny.
They have three active and arty children who love outdoors, crafting, reading and getting messy. As a family they enjoy doing all these things together.
They would like a nanny who is confident, fun, kind, resilient and reliable with an understanding that children can be tired after a long day and be able to let them rest, play or get them going with a game or craft. They value good communication.
A non smoker is preferred.
A driver is not essential but may be nice especially during the school holidays. There is free parking at the family home.
They have hamsters and may get a cat soon.
Parents may sometimes work from home.
