We have a lovely family from the Duddingston area of Edinburgh who are looking for an experienced nanny to work with them from mid July 2024 to mid August 2025 approx. They have two children who will be 2.5 years and 13 months at the start date.
The days and hours are: Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays 8.45am to 5.15pm totalling 25.5 hours per week. Care on a Monday will be for their baby only and Tuesdays and Wednesdays will be for both children.
Hourly rate is between £14-£15 per hour gross depending on experience.
Their youngest is a very easy going, calm baby. Her parents would like her to have daily outings such as the park, the library, classes, museum and Book Bugs.
Their toddler is an active boy who loves his scooter, parks, trains, planes and cars. He loves water play, flying his kite, football, making tents and imaginary play.
They are looking for a nanny who has proven experience with infants and toddlers. Someone who is loving, attentive, kind, positive, active, gentle and passionate about childcare. Someone innovative who keeps their childcare knowledge up to date. Someone who has their own hobbies that they would be interested in sharing with the children. Must have an interest in food and be happy to cook for the children as well as other nanny duties. Ideally trained in paediatric first aid or be willing to attend or renew as soon as possible. An awareness of eczema and be willing to apply creams if required. Non smoker only.
A driver with their own car and clean licence is preferable but not essential. Free parking at the family home.
The family have a Labrador cross rescue dog who has a very sweet nature and is excellent with the children. They have a dog walker.
