We have a lovely family from Portobello/Joppa looking for a permanent nanny to look after their two children who are 6 and 3 years. This role will continue until August 2025 where the hours will reduce around school hours during term time.
The hourly rate is from £15 per hour gross.
Start date is ASAP.
The days and hours are: ideally Thursdays 8am to 6pm and Fridays 8.30am to 1pm totalling 14.5 hours per week.
The family can be somewhat flexible and replace the full day Thursday with three half days on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons and Friday morning as above.
Their oldest attends primary school so the majority of the care would be for their youngest child who currently attends nursery. However the family are hoping to change this slightly to two days at nursery and two with a nanny. The family feel that he will benefit from 2 days with one-to-one care. He is a typical three year old who has a lot of energy and enjoys being outside running around.
They are looking for an experienced and attentive nanny who is fun, enthusiastic and happy to run around with a three year old who likes to investigate everything. Non smoker only.
A driver with their own car and clean licence is preferable but not essential. Mileage will be paid for use of own car if it is used for the children. Free parking at the family home.
